Murmrr Lit is thrilled to welcome world-renowned author Karl Ove Knausgaard on September 26 for a reading in support of the much-anticipated last installment of his My Struggle series. Book Six from the Norwegian writer covers the complicated emotional terrain of his fame, the experience of publishing his earlier volumes, and his profound marital crisis, and finally contemplates the Mein Kampf connection to the title and the current global trend toward authoritarianism. This is a rare opportunity to see an author whose success is both controversial and undeniable. Knausgaard's reading with be followed by a conversation with an interviewer, to be announced.

Karl Ove Knausgaard was born in Norway in 1968. His debut novel Out of the World won the Norwegian Critics Prize in 2004 and his A Time for Everything was a finalist for the Nordic Council Prize. My Struggle is a New York Times bestseller and has been translated into more than twenty languages. Knausgaard writes regularly for The New York Times Magazine. In 2010, he co-founded the Norwegian independent publishing house Pelikanen.
